Bio

Darin is the founder of Highridge Search. Highridge Search is one in a collection of real estate and hospitality talent and search-related brands, which include KangarooStar (kangaroostar.com) and KangarooStar Post (kangaroostar-post.com).

Prior to founding Highridge Search, Darin was a senior leader at Korn Ferry for 15 years where she led the real estate investment businesses globally. She also led searches in corporate credit, infrastructure, private equity, among other areas.

Darin brings a technical understanding to search that has served her well helping clients hire senior executives across real estate, private equity, credit, investment banking, and lending and finance. Her past investment experience at both Soros Private Fund Management and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (“DLJ”, through acquisition, Credit Suisse) gives her a technical understanding of strategy, the marketplace, and of candidate track records. She has been involved in some of the most notable hires, build-outs, and human capital strategies within these segments.

Darin earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science, Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, from the Barnard College, Columbia University.

Bio

Alexis is a senior executive search and leadership development professional at Highridge Search specializing in the real estate and infrastructure investment, asset management and capital raising segments. Alexis is also certified in leadership and development methodologies, and brings these skills to her search and assessment work.

Alexis started her search career at Korn Ferry where she worked directly with Darin White Eydenberg in the firm’s global real estate group. While she primarily focused on real estate and hospitality opportunities, she also supported execution in the investment banking, corporate credit, and private equity practices.

Most recently, Alexis was a Consultant within Sheffield Haworth’s Global Real Assets Group, where she spearheaded real estate credit and hospitality coverage in the US. She also has extensive experience in capital raising/investor relations, acquisitions, asset management, development, and broader C-Suite work, among other areas.

Before pivoting into search, Alexis started her career at Barclays in the sales and trading division.

Bio

Chloe is a senior executive search and talent development professional at Highridge Search. She brings 15 years of experience across private wealth and investment management, global brand strategy, and international business to the firm and its clients. She specializes in HNW and family office capital, investment strategies, and brand management / corporate marketing, among other areas.

Prior to Highridge, Chloe worked at Morgan Stanley, advising high-net-worth clients and family offices on tailored investment strategies across a range of asset classes. In this role, she developed a strong understanding of capital markets, investor priorities, and the strategic decision-making processes that underpin real estate, hospitality, private equity, and credit investment platforms.

Earlier in her career, Chloe held senior marketing and brand strategy roles at L’Oréal and Louis Vuitton, where she partnered closely with executive leadership on growth initiatives, organizational positioning, and performance in highly competitive, relationship-driven markets. Her work focused on aligning leadership, culture, and brand strategy to support long-term value creation.

Bio

Ryan Freeman serves as the CFO of Highridge Search, where he oversees the firm's financial operations and strategic finance initiatives while also advising growing businesses on accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance. He specializes in helping companies build scalable finance and accounting functions from the ground up, creating the processes and infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.

Ryan has worked extensively across the SaaS, recruiting, professional services, manufacturing, multi-entity, non-profit, and ecommerce sectors, with experience designing accounting infrastructure, implementing month-end close processes, enhancing financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and preparing organizations for audits, due diligence, and growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked in public accounting and advisory services, focusing on financial statement audits and financial due diligence, which gave him broad exposure to companies across industries and stages of growth and built his expertise in internal controls, transaction readiness, and accounting operations.

Today, Ryan partners with founders and executive teams to establish strong financial foundations, creating efficient, reliable finance functions that deliver timely insights and enable leaders to make informed decisions with confidence.

Bio

Julianne is a Project Coordinator at Highridge Search. She supports the execution of senior-level searches across real estate, hospitality, infrastructure, investment management, and financial services. She brings a proactive mindset, an adaptable working style, and a deeply relationship-driven approach to every stage of the search process.

Before joining Highridge Search, Julianne worked as a human resources professional, where she supported talent acquisition and onboarding, training and development, compensation management, and employee engagement. She later spent seven years as an executive assistant at a hedge fund, where she excelled at strategically supporting executive schedules, project prioritization, communication and relationship management, cross-functional collaboration and problem solving.

Bio

Arden is a Project Coordinator at Highridge Search who supports the execution of senior-level searches across real estate private equity, investment management, and financial services. She brings a sharp attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a client-first mindset to every stage of the search process.

Before joining Highridge Search, Arden worked as a real estate paralegal, where she managed transactions from contract to close and developed a deep understanding of deal structures and client needs. She later served as an account manager at a localization company, overseeing global client relationships and managing multilingual project workflows. Arden has also held administrative and legal support roles, further refining her operational and organizational skills.

Bio

Bella Colacino is a Research Associate at Highridge Search. She supports senior-level executive searches across real estate, hospitality, infrastructure, investment management, and financial services.

Bella recently graduated from Vanderbilt University. Before that, she completed two internships in real estate, working on the Capital Markets and Acquisitions team at Vornado Realty Trust and the Sales Enablement team at JLL.
